Disclaimer for August 25th: The Talk
Parents and guardians of Two:9 teens, please be advised that on August 25, 2010 we will be discussing what the Bible has to say about sexuality. This discussion will be from a Christian standpoint and will promote the themes of abstinence and preserving purity. We will be splitting the group up into four age appropriate groups: Junior High Girls, High School Girls, Junior High Boys, and High School Boys. Wednesday Nights, 7:00 pm: Youth Service
Wednesday nights we meet together in the new youth sanctuary for a dynamic, fun-filled service. The night typically includes prize giveaways, drama, multi-media presentations, games, activities geared for teenagers, a rockin’ worship service, and a brief teaching from the Bible that has a teen focus and deals with issues and topics that teens can relate to.
Sunday Mornings, 10:00 am: Small Groups
Sunday mornings, we meet in small groups that are separated between Middle School Guys, Middle School Girls, High School Guys, and High School Girls. Join us as we explore various aspects of our faith and current hot topics in smaller settings specifically geared for the teen age groups. The morning typically includes a fun game, prayer time, and an open-discussion-style lesson planned to challenge and excite teens about their walks with the Lord. Email Pastor Jonathan |
