![]() | PASTOR JONATHAN MICHALSKI Phone: 208.467.7777 Pastor Jonathan Michalski has a crazy and outgoing personality which is derived from his unique background of being raised by Missionary Parents, Richard and Sara Michalski. His experiences growing up on the mission field in the former Soviet Union bring a depth of experience in ministry and a wealth of stories that illuminate the gracious and miraculous hand of God in his life even at a very young age. His sense of humor and ability to communicate biblical truths through the lens of modern applications bring a fun atmosphere to the Youth Ministry of CFC. Pastor Jonathan's wife of six years, Heather, joins him in ministry and brings an excellent balance of organization and practicality to Pastor Jonathan's craziness. Their daughter, Grace, born in March of 2008 is fast becoming a youth favorite and unofficial mascot to the youth ministry. Pastor Jonathan and Heather are committed to reaching the lost, hurting, and broken teens of the Treasure Valley. They are also passionate about seeing the Lord move through the power of His Holy Spirit on the teens at CFC to take their commitment to Christ to a deeper and more relational level and enable them to go out and minister to the lost. On Thursday nights at 7:00 pm, the youth group meets for a weekly service which includes worship, skits or human videos, fun games designed to challenge the youth to bring non-Christian friends to the service, a brief teaching from the Bible, and prayer time. Pastor Jonathan also has regularly planned activities such as fun movie nights, drama presentations, Youth Camps, competitive team sporting events, and more. Pastor Jonathan is joined by events, and security aspects of the Youth Ministry. Pastor Jonathan, Heather and his dynamic, spirit-led leadership team are committed to reaching the teens of this area, passionate about growing the teens of CFC in their faith and callings, and enthusiastic about making the youth ministry a safe yet enjoyable place where teens feel challenged to pursue the heart of God for their lives and their friends. |
